Selection Process : SBI Junior Associate Recruitment 2026

Stage	Details
1. Preliminary Exam	Online Objective Test, 100 marks, 1 hour. Sections: English (30 Q), Numerical Ability (35 Q), Reasoning (35 Q). Negative marking: 1/4 mark for each wrong answer. Shortlists ~10 times vacancies for Main Exam.
2. Main Exam	Online Objective Test, 200 marks, 2 hrs 40 min. Sections: Financial Awareness (50 Q), English (40 Q), Quant (50 Q), Reasoning & Computer (60 Q). Negative marking: 1/4 mark for each wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks (5% relaxation for reserved). Bonus: +5 marks for trained SBI apprentices (who completed 1 year).
3. Local Language Test	For candidates who haven’t studied the local language in 10th/12th. Must qualify to get the final offer.

Note: Prelim marks are not added to the final merit. Final selection is based on Main Exam marks (+ bonus) and language test.

Pay Scale & Emoluments : SBI Junior Associate Recruitment 2026

Pay Scale: ₹24050 – 1340/3 – 28070 – 1650/3 – 33020 – 2000/4 – 41020 – 2340/7 – 57400 – 4400/1 – 61800 – 2680/1 – 64480
Starting Basic Pay: ₹26,730/- (includes two advance increments for graduates).
Total Monthly Emoluments (approx.): ₹46,000/- (at Metro, inclusive of DA and other allowances).
