• SC/ST/BC : Only candidates with certificates from Punjab, Haryana, or U.T. Chandigarh are eligible for reservation. Other state SC/ST/BC candidates will be treated as General.
• Ex-Servicemen : Benefit is available only to the ex-servicemen themselves, not to dependents.
• PwD : Only Low Vision, Deaf & Dumb, and Intellectually Disabled (MILD IQ) with 40% or more disability are eligible.
• Disability less than 40% or other disabilities – treated as General (no age/fee relaxation).
• Category cannot be changed after submission of application.
• BC candidates must produce valid ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ certificate and declaration (Annexure T).

• Stage 1 : Shortlisting (if needed) based on applications.
• Stage 2 : Interview of shortlisted candidates.
• Stage 3 : Document verification (testimonials checking).
• Final Selection : Based on interview performance and document verification.
• Merit list will be prepared accordingly.
• No written test – only interview.
