• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) from a recognised university.
• Minimum Marks:
  • General / OBC / EWS : 50% aggregate (or equivalent CGPA).
  • SC / ST / PH (Divyang) : 45% aggregate (or equivalent CGPA).
• Final Year Students: Candidates appearing for the final year examination of their bachelor’s degree can also apply, subject to meeting eligibility criteria at the time of admission.
• Work Experience: Not mandatory but may be given weightage during the selection process.
• Age Limit: No age restriction.

• Step 1: Appear for CAT 2026 – the computer-based test.
• Step 2: Based on CAT score, IIMs will shortlist candidates for further rounds.
• Step 3: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), and Written Ability Test (WAT) as per individual IIM policies.
• Step 4: Final selection is based on a composite score that may include CAT score, academic performance, work experience, GD/PI/WAT performance, and other parameters.
• Important: Each IIM has its own weightage system. Candidates are advised to check the admission policy of their preferred IIMs.

• Visit the official CAT 2026 website: https://iimcat.ac.in
• Read the full information bulletin carefully.
• Register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
• Fill the online application form with personal, academic, and contact details.
• Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and relevant certificates.
• Select your preferred IIMs (up to 4 choices).
• Pay the application fee online (₹2,700 for General/OBC/EWS; ₹1,350 for SC/ST/PH).
• Submit the form before 15 September 2026 (5:00 PM).
• Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
• Download the admit card from 04 November 2026 onwards.
