Level-1 (Class 1-5)

  • 12th (Senior Secondary) with at least 50% marks and a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
  • 12th with at least 45% marks and a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per NCTE norms.
  • 12th with at least 50% marks and a 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
  • 12th with at least 50% marks and a 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Level-2 (Class 6-8)

  • Graduation with a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree.
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed. degree as per NCTE norms.
  • 12th with at least 50% marks and a 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
  • 12th with at least 50% marks and a 4-Year B.A./B.Sc. B.Ed. or B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. integrated course.
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education).
  • Candidates who have completed an NCTE-recognized B.Ed. programme are also eligible to appear for CTET.
