Apprentice
Total: 4500 Posts
  • Educational Qualification: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognised University by the Govt. of India or equivalent.
  • Graduation Completion: Must have completed Graduation on or after 01 January 2022.
  • NATS Registration: Candidates must be registered on the NATS portal.
  • No prior apprenticeship: Should not have undergone apprenticeship training earlier.
  • Experience: Candidates with 1 year or more job experience after graduation are NOT eligible.
Additional Conditions:
  • Candidates must be proficient in the specified local/official language of the state they apply for (Annexure-II of notification).
  • Candidates who have passed 10th or 12th with the specified local language are exempted from the language test.
  • Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWBD as per Government of India norms.
  • PWBD reservation is horizontal and within the overall vacancies of the state.
  • EWS candidates must have family income below ₹8 lakh per annum and not own specified assets.

Selection Process

  • Step 1: Online Examination (Objective Type) – 100 questions, 60 minutes.
  • Step 2: Test of Local Language (Reading, Writing, Speaking & Understanding).
  • Step 3: Document Verification.
  • Step 4: Medical Fitness Certificate.

Online Exam Structure: General/Financial Awareness (20 Q), Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude (20 Q), Computer Knowledge (20 Q), General English (20 Q), Central Bank Products & Services (20 Q). Total 100 marks. No negative marking.

Merit list prepared based on online exam score. In case of tie, older candidates are ranked higher.

Stipend & Other Benefits

  • Stipend: ₹ 15,000 per month for the 12-month training period.
  • Leave: 1 casual leave per month. Other leave not applicable.
  • Working Hours: As applicable to clerical staff.
  • No Overtime: Apprentices are not allowed to work overtime.
  • Termination: Contract can be terminated by either party with proper notice and as per Apprenticeship Advisor’s decision.

Important: Apprentices are considered trainees, not employees, and are not entitled to employee benefits. No claim to regular employment in the Bank after training.

How to Apply

  • Step 1: Register on the NATS portal: https://nats.education.gov.in (Student Register/Login).
  • Step 2: After registration, apply for Central Bank of India Apprenticeship on the NATS portal.
  • Step 3: Eligible candidates will receive an email from BFSI SSC to register on https://beep.bfsissc.com.
  • Step 4: Complete the application on BEEP portal by providing category details, district preferences, and paying the application fee.
  • Step 5: Submit the application before 22 June 2026.
  • Step 6: Take a printout of the system-generated online application form for future reference.

Important: Candidates must ensure they are registered on the NATS portal and have a valid enrollment ID before applying.
