Submarine Arm: Male GS(X) candidates may volunteer for submarine arm (subject to medical fitness & service requirements). Submarine allowance ₹31,250/- applicable post training.
RPA Specialisation: GS(X) selected candidates can volunteer for Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) cadre after INA training.
Merchant Navy: 2nd Mate/Mate/Master COC holders (born 1997-2008) can apply for Executive. 1st Class Engineer COC holders for Technical Branch.
CPL Holders: Valid DGCA CPL holders born between 02 Jul 2002 – 01 Jul 2008 can apply for Pilot entry.
NCC Candidates: ‘C’ certificate holders with ‘B’ Grade & 2 years service get 5% relaxation in SSB shortlisting cutoff.
Medical: CDSE Jul 27 medically fit candidates are fit for all SSC branches (except Pilot/NAOO).

Indian Navy SSC Officers Recruitment 2026 : Selection Process

Shortlisting: Based on normalised marks in qualifying degree (BE/B.Tech: upto 5th sem; PG: all semesters).
SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for SSB (intimation via email/SMS).
Medical Examination: SSB recommended candidates undergo medicals as per entry.
Merit List: Based on SSB marks, vacancy availability & medical clearance.
